The Legend of Postal: Rod of Krotchilius

A Postal Game Jam game developed by the Special Hobos Indie Development team!! You take the role of the Postal Dude as you make your way through the realm of Scroballia as the chosen hero to save the world from imminent doom! Fight your way through Scroballia with a full party of companions including The Postal Dude himself! Along with Generica, innocent catgirl who's... well, kind of generic. The Beelzebitch, a brutal berserker. And of course, who could forget, the NPC. "One side!"

In order to play the game, after download, unzip the folder. Once unzipped, there will be a file called game.exe in it or launch the application named Game. Click that and start enjoying the Realm of Scroballia, adventure awaits!

The controls are basic as far as controls go, arrow keys make you move. The space bar is to interact with things. X is menu and back, otherwise there's a nice little sprint key (shift). You are also welcome to play the game in a point and click style and it's fully controller compatible, we're not picky here at S.H.I.D.!

Of course here at S.H.I.D., we like to give credit where credit is due! So a huge shoutout to RPGMaker MZ as we used a lot of their base assets (y'all the real MVP's) along with some custom sprite artwork by Briilzebub. Spielmeister456 did most of the heavy lifting on the script, and in bringing the game together itself. This project would not have been possible without those two idiots.

As far as voices go, we had a lot of fantastic friends to help along the way! Our cast is as follows;

Now to music credits! In this game, we did use base RPGMaker music for basically everything other than what is credited below.

We figured it would be awesome to use music from Postal 2 and Paradise Lost to make it feel a bit more like Paradise for RWS! The songs we used that were from the Postal 2 and Postal 2: Paradise Lost soundtracks and are as follows:

We also have an easter egg featuring a song from the best/worst game we've ever seen. The song is The King of Limbo from Limbo of the Lost.

For art programs, we used Krita and Photoshop. Along with Adobe Premiere for the trailer.
